We apologize for the long absence of sharing news from us. The reason is very positive for us since we have received a number of orders in last couple of months – hence have been very busy. Here are the main highlights:

– Achema 2018, Frankfurt
We had a stand at the Achema which was very well visited. We were able to present new developments, have promising negotiations with clients, and introduce ourselves to new clients. As usual, we had the opportunity to have discussions with our valuable sub suppliers.

– New 150 000 tpy TDI plant to China
We have been awarded a contract for a 150 000 tpy TDI plant to a repeat Chinese client. The scope comprises Basic Design, Proprietary Equipment and Advisory Services for the MTD and TDI units. The design will be Chematur’s proprietary design using MCB as solvent. The project is in full swing with a target date for commissioning in 2020.

– Hydrogen Peroxide Capacity Enhancement, Pakistan
A contract has been awarded for debottlenecking and capacity increase for a plant of Chematur design.

– Hydrogen Peroxide Technology Conversion, Pakistan
A contract has been awarded for a revamp and conversion of a fixed bed Hydrogen Peroxide plant to Chematur’s proprietary slurry-based design.

– Studies
Various studies are being processed in Isocyanates, Bio-ethylene, BioStil® as well as Explosives and Propellants.

– R&D Activities
The R&D activities are focused on finalizing our Hydrogen Peroxide pilot plant. The unit is built in our Tech Center in Karlskoga and is scheduled to start in early 2019. The main purpose of the Pilot Plant is to further increase the hydrogenation test level, but it will also be utilized for testing different unit operation solutions.
We are also working on further refining of our DNT process and we are expanding our laboratory section in the Tech Center.

2018 has been very positive for us with several important orders falling in place. Because of this and a steady stream of interesting prospects, we are expanding our staff and are looking for new employees in all disciplines.
