Hydrogen Peroxide (CAS no 7722-84-1) is an environmentally friendly chemical with its main use as a bleaching agent in the Paper & Pulp industry. Furthermore, it is a key raw material in the production of bleaching agents for laundry detergents, e.g. Sodium Percarbonate (CAS no 15630-89-4) and Sodium Borate (CAS no 1303-96-4). A number of other uses exists, including waste water treatment, synthesis of organic peroxides and in the medical and cosmetic sector.
