March 23, 2021, Chematur Engineering AB (CEAB) has been selected as the licensor for building an annual production of 110,000 tons of Hydrogen Peroxide plant as 100%, for JiangSu WeiMing Petrochemical Co. Ltd.
JiangSu WeiMing Petrochemical Co. Ltd. is a Taiwan-owned enterprise established by Taiwan’s Sinopec (China petrochemical industry development Co., Ltd.) and registered on May 16, 2013. The company is engaged in chemical project construction in Lingang industrial zone of Yangkou port economic development zone, Changsha town, Rudong County, Jiangsu province. It is expected to build a new petrochemical material base with a total investment of 5.65 billion dollars in four phases. The overall investment contains various plants that have been planned based on market supply and demand and their own experience, including natural gas hydrogen production plant, cyclohexanone production plant, nylon 6 plant, a set of cyclohexanone and hydrogen production plant, as well as acrylonitrile product series to support public facilities, such as propane dehydrogenation, acrylonitrile, methyl methacrylate.
CEAB will supply the process technology license, basic engineering design package, Proprietary equipment, catalyst and advise service to build the Hydrogen Peroxide plant for JiangSu WeiMing Petrochemical.

The Hydrogen Peroxide plant project is currently in the basic engineering stage, expected to start in April 2021. It is planned to be commission and start-up in November 2022.
